Wireless LAN connection using external box connected with an Ethernet port

Each TravelingConnect capable venue will have a wireless LAN (WiFi) antenna located at a central place in the venue .   Travelers may use an external wireless network adapter that is connected through a standard Ethernet.  This makes the laptop  WiFi capable without inserting a adapter card into the laptop and will allow the travelers laptop to connect to the Internet using radio waves.  External Wireless LAN bridge (WiFi) are readily available at electronic stores for around $90.  If one chooses an Ethernet type External Wireless LAN bridge, one may also connect directly as identified in the Wired Connection .

For travelers with their own WiFi adapter they must modify or add a wireless profile so the SSID is, CONNECT and encryption off.
