Each TravelingConnect capable venue will have a wireless LAN (WiFi) antenna located at a central place in the venue . Travelers may use an external wireless network adapter that is connected through a standard USB port. This makes the laptop WiFi capable without inserting a adapter card into the laptop and will allow the traveler's laptop to connect to the Internet using radio waves. External Wireless LAN bridge (WiFi) are readily available at electronics stores for around $60. If one chooses a USB type External Wireless LAN bridge, one cannot connect directly to the venue's hub Wired Connection . For travelers with their own WiFi adapter they must modify or add a wireless profile so the SSID is, CONNECT and encryption off. This is purely a wireless connection. If one would like to be able to plug into the venue's hub, you may want to choose External Wireless - LAN Key Benefits
